Whether you are new to Nashville or a native, the vast scope of homelessness across the city is daunting. In fact, Nashville has one of the country’s largest homeless populations and the situation will only be compounded with the closing of “Tent City,” a community of homeless individuals who have made their homes (tents) on the outskirts of downtown Nashville. As of July, Tent City is scheduled to remain open.
