Marginalia aspires to heed Isaiah’s exhortation to “defend the rights of the poor and needy” in the following ways:
• Educating ourselves and our community about the issues surrounding homelessness in Nashville
• Living an authentic life of hospitality
• Working with other Vanderbilt University organizations and homeless outreach organizations in Nashville
• Promoting social justice for the homeless community
• Embarking upon a ministry of presence
We are a student organization from Vanderbilt Divinity School seeking to raise awareness of homelessness in Nashville, TN and working to relieve the plight of those trapped in homelessness.
